In 19’s people used to stuck in their daily routine meals like dal , roti etc. Now, it’s our time where domino’s , pizza hut , Mcd’s are creating a mind blowing effect in our day today life. Burgers , pizzas are like people can’t stay without them. Even the coming generation wants these kinds of stuff as a meal. All have different kind of mindset. We can’t change it. These days every single person has different kind of food habits. Some love’s tadka shadka masaledaar chicken biryani while others love panner(vegetarian people).
But I am seriously different from these kinds of people. Let’s make sense I am a kind of person who is miles away from these modern stuff (only food).
Being a PAHADI(people use to call us with this name) from Himachal Pradesh. I am little bit traditional and so basic that simplicity is inherent in me so deeply. Let me introduce you with a legendary history. It is believed that more than 1000 years ago the king of Himachal Pradesh liked the Kashmiri wazwan so, much that he ordered his cook to prepare a similar meal without using meat. Thus a new menu evolved in Himachal cuisine, and has since been known as DHAM. Well, no one ever thought that how these kinds of traditional things evolved in our country. I can say in India there are a lot of places where these kinds of traditions are going on. The most important part which I love the most in DHAM isleaf plates are traditionally used to serve the DHAM ,as people sit on the floor and enjoy it in community gathering .Look even our respected chief minister also sit on the floor which truly shows their respect towards this tradition. DHAM comprises of the following things like dal, kadhi, khatta and meetha . Instead of using modern ways like cooking gas, DHAM is usually cooked in firewoods. After hearing this whole story of DHAM.
